A veterinarian-client-patient relationship is established only when all applicable professional and legal requirements have been met and Nomad Veterinary Care has agreed to accept responsibility for the patient’s veterinary care.

Submission of an appointment request does not guarantee that an appointment has been accepted, scheduled, or confirmed.

Nomad Veterinary Care is not an emergency veterinary service.

Website forms, email, voicemail, and text messages are not monitored continuously and should not be used for life-threatening or time-sensitive concerns.

If your pet may be experiencing an emergency, contact or proceed directly to the nearest veterinary emergency hospital.

Nomad Veterinary Care provides mobile veterinary services within designated service areas and only where legally and professionally appropriate.

Services are subject to:

• Professional judgment

Nomad Veterinary Care may decline, postpone, modify, stop, or discontinue a service when doing so is medically appropriate, legally required, outside our capabilities, or necessary for the safety of the patient, client, veterinary team, or public.

Some services may require referral to a traditional veterinary hospital, urgent-care facility, emergency hospital, specialty hospital, laboratory, imaging provider, or other veterinary provider.

Appointment requests are not confirmed until you receive direct confirmation from Nomad Veterinary Care.

You are responsible for providing complete and accurate information regarding:

• Your contact information
• Your service location
• Your pet’s medical history
• Your pet’s current symptoms
• Current medications and supplements
• Prior veterinary care
• Known aggression or bite history
• Escape risk
• Handling concerns
• Other information relevant to safe care

Response times may vary because our team travels between appointments.

Email, text messages, website forms, social-media messages, and voicemail should not be relied upon for urgent concerns.

Clients are responsible for providing a reasonably safe and appropriate location for mobile veterinary services.

The appointment area should be:

• Accessible to the veterinary team
• Reasonably clean
• Adequately lit
• Protected from unsafe weather when necessary
• Free from uncontrolled animals
• Free from dangerous individuals or hazards
• Suitable for the requested examination or procedure

Nomad Veterinary Care may postpone, relocate, modify, or discontinue an appointment when the environment is unsafe or unsuitable.

Clients are responsible for:

• Providing complete and accurate information
• Safely securing pets before the veterinary team arrives
• Following instructions regarding leashes, carriers, muzzles, confinement, or pre-visit medications
• Disclosing aggression, bite history, escape risk, or handling concerns
• Providing a safe environment for veterinary care
• Following treatment and monitoring recommendations
• Obtaining emergency, specialty, or hospital care when advised
• Paying all amounts due

Nomad Veterinary Care may stop or decline an examination, treatment, or procedure when a pet cannot be handled safely.

Additional restraint, sedation, rescheduling, referral, or cancellation may be recommended when appropriate.

Payment is due at the time services are provided unless Nomad Veterinary Care has approved another arrangement in writing.

Accepted payment methods may include:

• Cash
• Debit cards
• Credit cards
• Contactless or tap-to-pay payments
• Third-party financing
• Trupanion VetDirect Pay
• Other methods displayed on our website

Clients are responsible for all charges incurred.

When a client pays with cash, Nomad Veterinary Care may be unable to provide change. Any overpayment may be applied as an account credit or handled according to the option selected by the client.

Financing services displayed on our website, including CareCredit, Cherry, Scratchpay, or other providers, are operated by independent third parties.

Financing providers determine:

• Approval
• Credit requirements
• Available plans
• Interest rates
• Promotional terms
• Payment schedules
• Fees
• Account-management practices

Nomad Veterinary Care does not guarantee financing approval or any specific terms.

Clients remain responsible for complying with all obligations owed to the financing provider.

Nomad Veterinary Care is not a pet insurance company and cannot guarantee that any service will be covered or reimbursed.

Most pet insurance plans require clients to pay the veterinary provider and then request reimbursement from the insurer.

Nomad Veterinary Care may provide itemized invoices, medical records, and other documentation reasonably needed for claim submission.

For eligible Trupanion members, Trupanion VetDirect Pay may allow approved covered expenses to be paid directly to Nomad Veterinary Care.

Clients remain responsible for:

• Deductibles
• Coinsurance
• Policy exclusions
• Non-covered services
• Amounts denied by the insurer
• Any remaining balance

Insurance coverage and payment decisions are made solely by the insurance provider under the client’s individual policy.

Any estimate or treatment plan is based on information reasonably available at the time it is prepared.

An estimate is not a guarantee of the final cost.

The final cost may change because of:

• The patient’s condition
• Findings during examination
• Diagnostic results
• Response to treatment
• Medications required
• Additional procedures
• Travel needs
• Referral requirements
• Unexpected circumstances

When reasonably possible, Nomad Veterinary Care will discuss material changes before providing additional nonemergency services.

Prescriptions and medication recommendations require an appropriate veterinarian-client-patient relationship and are subject to:

• Veterinary approval
• Applicable law
• Examination requirements
• Patient medical history
• Current health status
• Monitoring requirements
• Professional judgment

Nomad Veterinary Care may provide access to an online pharmacy operated and fulfilled by an independent third-party provider.

Product availability, pricing, payment processing, shipping, fulfillment, returns, customer service, privacy practices, and pharmacy policies are determined by the pharmacy provider and are subject to that provider’s separate terms and conditions.

Access to an online pharmacy does not guarantee approval of a prescription.

Prescription requests may be approved, modified, delayed, or declined based on the veterinarian’s professional judgment and the patient’s medical needs.

Nomad Veterinary Care is not responsible for third-party product availability, shipping delays, fulfillment errors, website interruptions, pricing changes, or other matters outside our reasonable control.

Information on this website concerning medications, supplements, herbal products, nutrition, or other therapies is provided for general educational purposes only.

The appearance or discussion of a product or treatment does not mean that it is appropriate for every patient.

Products should not be administered or discontinued without guidance from the veterinarian responsible for the patient’s care.
